It was my honor to return to Lamar University as an Adjunct Instructor with the goal to prepare the the next generation of professionals coming out of the Family Studies program. All helping professionals have to interact with individuals who are part of families; the Family Studies program is preparing professionals from many different disciplines to achieve competency in the area of family interactions and human development." This specialized training will lead to stronger professionals who can make educated decisions and increase quality of services provided to clients/patients/consumers in our community.
Although serving as a summer semester Adjunct Instructor for the past three years, I have now joined the school year teaching faculty for the 2016-2017 year. I will teach Human Development in Infant/Toddlerhood (FCSC 3340) during the fall semester and Human Development in Middle Adulthood (FCSC 3341) as well as Administration of Programs for Families (FCSC 4323) in the spring semester.
